Thornhill Community Supportive Services Incorporated is a 501c3 non-profit organization, located in Bedford Stuyvesant Crown Heights section of Brooklyn New York. Some of our programs include helping seniors to become more knowledgeable in the updated technology that we use in our society such as computer training and cell phone usage. Children through tutoring and mentorships reading, math and mentorship. Mothers and fathers through our resources center.
Thornhill’s main focus is to be a beacon of light who serves as advocates, educators and mentors who empower families who may be considered part of the forgotten population of our inner cities. We provide a venue for them to become more productive, and participate in the rehabilitation and stabilization of our communities. We are changing our urban community one
life at a time.
Thornhill will host it’s first annual Women’s Tea Party featuring host Dominique Sharpton, with guests including Dr. Kim Best and the leading ladies of New York business. This event will raise funds for Thornhill’s Working Women Programs and Mentoring Programs.
Thornhill’s Annual Fundraiser “CHANGING OUR URBAN COMMUNITIES, ONE LIFE AT A TIME”CHILDREN &TEEN MENTORSHIP, AFTER-SCHOOL, DAY CARE, FEED THE HUNGRY & SENIOR AWARENESS, YOUTH SUBSTANCE ABUSE & HIV PREVENTIVE PROGRAMS. Fundraiser was held on June 4, 2010. Donations were well appreciated.
